The disconnect is breathtaking. The head of the San Francisco Human Rights Commission, transgender Theresa Sparks, continues to support the sharia and denounce our ad campaign designed to raise awareness of the plight of gays under Islamic law. Our new campaign uses the actual quotes of President Ahmadinejad, global Muslim spiritual leader Qaradawi and popular radio host in the UK, Sister Ruby Ramadan (political, religious and cultural).

Sparks, something of the spark for our new AFDI campaign, went so far to say, "it’s actually easier to get insurance for sexual transition procedures in Iran than in America." Hmmm, is that why the President of Iran insists there are no homosexuals in that country?

Such delusion is without peer. Sparks ought to spend a little time in that hellhole and see if she escapes with her life. For someone so clear about being true to herself and being who she is, she is either blind or cowardly. The persecution, subjugation and oppression of gays is religious -- it's the sharia. Not every Muslim subscribes to it, of course. But the ideology behind it is very much the problem. Sparks claims it's cultural -- what culture is that? Islamic culture. Sparks is sharpening the blade of her executioners.

Sparks is intellectually dishonest when she claims that our ads "suggest that all Muslims hate gays." That's a red herring. The ads suggest no such thing. The oppression and persecution of gays is epidemic in the Muslim world and Sparks is sanitizing this horror. And many in the gay community suffer here in the United States.

Where was Theresa Sparks when a Muslim gang was targeting gays in San Francisco in a series of attacks, shooting them in the face with a BB gun and video-taping the attacks? A Muslim gang targeted nearly a dozen victims one evening, recording the shootings on a video camera confiscated by police along with a “rifle-style” BB gun .There was a concerted effort within the San Francisco police department to bury this story, and it is only because one officer leaked the report to the media that anything was ever reported. Where was Sparks then?

 

The Muslims chose their victims "because they appeared to be gay."

How many attacks do we not hear about so as not to offend the sensibilities of the Muslim community? These attacks are increasing across the country with large Muslim communities, i.e. New York, Minnesota, Maine, not to mention the gay-bashing in sharia zones in the UK, France and across Europe.  Shame on Theresa Sparks.

In light of the irrational response by city officials to our jihad campaign in uber-left San Francisco, we have submitted another series of ads to that city. Considering what a mecca San Francisco is to the gay community, it is beyond belief that the city would be carrying water for the most brutal and homophobic ideology on the face of the earth.

We  submitted these ads late yesterday featuring the President of a Muslim country, the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood and a radio talk show host on Muslim radio in the UK, calling for the murder of homosexuals.

And they're not "extremists." The Qur'an says: "And [We had sent] Lot when he said to his people, 'Do you commit such immorality as no one has preceded you with from among the worlds? Indeed, you approach men with desire, instead of women. Rather, you are a transgressing people.'...And We rained upon them a rain [of stones]. Then see how was the end of the criminals." (7:80-84) Muslim clerics often use this as a justification for stoning gays. And Muhammad set the death penalty for homosexuality when he said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, 'Whoever you find doing the action of the people of Loot, execute the one who does it and the one to whom it is done.'" (Sunan Abu Dawud 4462)

Playing for the cameras and getting played. What a racket.

I love when the DA tool District Attorney George Gascon badly paraphrases Edmund Burke's famous quote that all that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. Well, Gascon, the only thing worse than doing nothing is actually aiding and abetting the enemy.

Did Gascon and his council of quislings condemn the quotes by the jihadists? Not. a. chance. What is implied here is that Gascon and the craven council associate all Muslims with violent jihad. Whose the phobe now, clown?

‘Killing Jews Is Worship’ Ad Campaign Rolled Out On SF Buses CBS, San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX 5) – A controversy has been re-ignited this week as ten new ads go up on San Francisco Muni buses containing quotes used by terrorists.

“Killing Jews is worship that draws us closer to Allah,” reads one of the ads, which has people debating the line between free speech and hate speech.

“The purpose of our campaign is to show the reality of Jihad, the root causes of terrorism. Using the exact quotes and text that they use,” said Pamela Geller of the American Freedom Defense Institute.

Several San Francisco city leaders, including District Attorney George Gascon, have condemned the campaign.

“San Francisco won’t tolerate Islamic bigotry,” said Gascon. “The only thing necessary for evil to prevail is for good people to look the other way and do nothing.”

Board of Supervisors President David Chiu said the American Freedom Defense Initiative is made of “well-known hate extremists” and said he is introducing a resolution at Tuesday’s board meeting to denounce the ads.

Geller said the ads were a response to another bus ad campaign earlier this year by the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

That campaign sought to disassociate the word “jihad” with violence and reclaim its meaning as “the struggle,” which is a central tenant of Islam.

“When someone attacks our religion it’s like they are attacking us,” said Oakland Imam Salah el Seeiadi in response to the new ads.

Similar ads have already appeared in Washington D.C. and Chicago.

Geller, whose group also ran an ad campaign last year on Muni buses that referred to Muslims as “savages,” [MEDIA LIE ALERT]criticized the San Francisco city officials for holding today’s event against her campaign.

“They’re holding a press conference to denounce … my pointing out the truth,” she said. “The purpose of our ads is to show the purpose of
jihad.”

“I am merely using high-profile Muslims and their own words. How does that paint every Muslim with the same brush? I don’t understand that,” Geller said.

MUNI and its ad subcontractor decided the signs were well within first amendment guidelines. However, the transit system decided not to make any money over the controversy, and is instead donating the proceeds – about $5,000 – to the Human Rights Commission.

In response to the ads, Muni is also launching its own ad campaign this week that will promote peace and acceptance of all people, Chiu said.

NEW YORK, March 11, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A prominent national human rights organization, the American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI), has denounced San Francisco city leaders' condemnation of their ads telling the truth about the jihad threat that Americans face.

The AFDI ads feature actual quotes from Osama bin Laden, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, a witness to the jihad of Fort Hood mass murderer Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, Hamas TV and Times Square jihad car bomber Faisal Shahzad. They depict Osama bin Laden's actual explanation of why he took down the Twin Towers: "The first thing we are calling you to is Islam." They note that Hasan was shouting "Allahu akbar" as he murdered 13 Americans at Fort Hood. They recount a Hamas TV music video that included the lyric, "Killing Jews is worship that draws us close to Allah," and report Shahzad's words on how jihad involving "weaponry" is "an obligation and duty in Islam on every Muslim."

"Americans need to understand the threat they're facing," said AFDI Executive Director Pamela Geller. "That is the point of our ads. The slaughter of Christians in Nigeria, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Malaysia, Algeria et al -- that doesn't warrant a statement, let alone a press conference from San Francisco authorities, but my ads do. Think about that. Hundreds of thousands dead, but it would be blasphemy to talk about. The slaughter in the cause of jihad is OK, but my talking about it is the problem."

Geller continued: "It is significant that they did not condemn the cynical and deceptive Hamas-linked CAIR ads that ran on buses earlier, and to which my ads are replying. Their inconsistency and politically motivated selective outrage are manifest."

"Hamas-CAIR," she said, "an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest Hamas funding trial in our nation's history, has created out of whole cloth a propaganda campaign that dissembles, deceives, and deliberately lies about the definition of jihad. Our ads reply to that campaign with the truth about the jihad threat in the words of the jihadis themselves."

CAIR is indeed an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case — so named by the Justice Department. CAIR operatives have repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups. Several former CAIR officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror. CAIR's cofounder and longtime Board chairman (Omar Ahmad), as well as its chief spokesman (Ibrahim Hooper), have made Islamic supremacist statements. Its California chapter distributed posters telling Muslims not to talk to the FBI.

Hamas-linked CAIR's attempt to defame AFDI and dictate to New Yorkers what messages they can and cannot see is consistent with its long record of pro-jihad duplicity, deception and thuggery. One member of this unsavory gang has even previously called for these ads to be defaced. Although it has received millions of dollars in donations from foreign Islamic entities, it has not registered as a foreign agent as required by the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), despite spreading Islamic supremacist propaganda within the United States.

Although it presents itself as a civil rights group, CAIR actually has numerous links to hateful and violent Islamic supremacist and jihad groups.

CAIR founders Omar Ahmad and Niwad Awad (who still serves as CAIR's executive director) were present at a Hamas planning meeting in Philadelphia in 1993 where they and other Hamas operatives conspired to raise funds for Hamas and to promote jihad in the Middle East. CAIR has steadfastly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups.

The imperialistic and supremacist group is claiming ownership of holy war and what amounts to a hashtag (#myjihad). Is that a first? They love using American law to crush American freedoms. In this case of parody (as in most things), Hamas-CAIR Chicago is overreaching and out of control, but there is always some hungry lawyer eager to line his pockets with myjihad dollars (and AFDI's).

Hamas-CAIR has been encouraging people to use the hashtag #myjihad -- did they really think they could say who, what, where and when? Typical Islamic supremacism.

Rehab was furious that his deceptions were being exposed and whined to Brachear: “Geller’s attempt to hijack the ‘MyJihad’ slogan amounts to fraud.” Actually, it is CAIR’s whole campaign that is a complete fraud. Nothing is mock or parody. But the Chicago media followed Manya Brachear’s propaganda lead. CBS Chicago and WGN Radio, among others, all claimed that our ads featured “mock testimony.” That’s not reportage, Tokyo Rose Manya, that’s propaganda. CAIR's Chicago executive supremacist, Ahmed Rehab, whined, "Geller's attempt to hijack the 'MyJihad' slogan amounts to fraud."

Hizb ut Tahrir is an organization of Islamic supremacists around the world, dedicated to imposing Sharia. Apparently they didn't get the memo about how the witless unbelievers need to be deceived about the nature and meaning of jihad, and so they're taking issue with Ahmed Rehab and his cosmetics. Blazing Cat Fur has the link to the HuT forum: There seems to be a new push by western Muslims, pushed to counter "extremists" and those that may have been contaminated by "moderate Islam" to reclaim "Jihad". They will be using tools such as social media -"facebook/twitter" - how influential are they in the battle of ideas for the west. Other methods will include advertisements and posters/billboards....

After Council on American-Islamic Relations launches ads, American Freedom Defense Initiative asks CTA to OK different message

Chicago buses have become a battleground for two groups promoting different definitions of jihad.

This past weekend, the Council on American-Islamic Relations launched "MyJihad," a national ad campaign featuring individuals' testimonies about what the pillar of Islam means to them.

But on Monday, the American Freedom Defense Initiative, or AFDI, asked the CTA to accept another batch of ads, featuring mock testimonies from high-profile Muslim extremists, including Osama bin Laden.

The campaign is the second one launched by the initiative, which rolled out a controversial series of bus posters last month urging passengers to "Defeat jihad."

"The MyJihad campaign is about reclaiming jihad from the Muslim and anti-Muslim extremists who ironically, but not surprisingly, see eye to eye on jihad," said Ahmed Rehab, executive director of the Chicago chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, also known as CAIR. Rehab also created the slogan.

The people behind the AFDI initiative have become the "premiere promoters of extremism and violence," he said.

Pamela Geller, executive director of AFDI, said the fact that some Muslims consider jihad a peaceful concept does not cancel out the fact that there are others who interpret it violently.

"This usage of jihad is much more influential and widespread among Muslims worldwide than the benign and whitewashed understanding of it" presented in the ad campaign, Geller said.

Brian Steele, a spokesman for the CTA, said the second AFDI campaign is under review. The first CAIR and AFDI campaigns cost $5,000 each, he said. Geller said the second campaign will cost less than $10,000. She expects it to start in January.

Rehab said Geller's attempt to hijack the "MyJihad" slogan amounts to fraud. He said CAIR's campaign includes ads on buses and trains, as well as a social media component on Twitter, where users are asked to tweet their testimony with the #MyJihad hashtag.

He added that the campaign has evolved into an interfaith effort, including Muslim mothers who are concerned that their children will be bullied, as well as Jews and Christians.

"We have been overwhelmed with the participation of people of other faiths tweeting their struggles," campaign volunteer and Naperville mom Angie Emara said in a statement. "People of different backgrounds are finding a common language. They're learning to see themselves in one another as they share similar expressions of their daily jihad."

Yes, Americans and other freedom loving peoples have been overwhelmed by ....jihad.

It uses actual quotes by jihadis and Islamic supremacists including Osama bin Laden and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as well as statements from Hamas TV and one of the victims of the Fort Hood jihad massacre. This usage of jihad is much more influential and widespread among Muslims worldwide than the benign and whitewashed understanding of it being pushed by Hamas-linked CAIR, and the fact that some Muslims don’t think of jihad as involving violence does not cancel out the fact that many do. Our AFDI campaign shines the light of truth to break through the fog of CAIR’s deceptions.

Americans need to understand Islamic jihad that so we can counter it effectively. Honest moderate Muslims need to stand up against this and work for Islamic reform rather than blame my ads for pointing out the truth.

The FBI’s latest statistics give the lie yet again to the victimhood-mongering of Hamas-CAIR, which by claiming that there has been a wave of “Islamophobia” hopes to intimidate Americans into thinking there’s something wrong with resisting jihad terror.
